Want to make an account for a staff member or someone who helps you manage your properties? Perhaps you want to make an account for an owner whose property you manage?
Make them a staff / owner account with Smoobu's Permissions feature.
Step by step
1) Click Settings, then scroll down to Permissions. Click here for a direct link.
2) Enter the email address of the person you wish to grant permission to and click on Create.
This will send an automated message to the email address. After receiving the email, the account holder will need to click on the link and accept the permissions.
This will send them a second email with another link. After clicking the second link, it will take them to a page to enter and reconfirm a password. After doing so, they will be able to login.
Important: It is best to have your staff member or owner accept the permission from a PC preferably. Only download and use the app once permission has been accepted and password has been created.
3) After clicking Create, the page will refresh automatically. You can then press Edit.
4) On the following page, press next to Accommodations to set permissions:
5) Select the accommodation or accommodations you wish to give them access to by ticking the square to the right of the property name
6) After setting permissions, click Create.
That's it! Their Owner / Staff account is ready to be used.

Please note:
-All staff / owner accounts have access to the "Cockpit" tab and "Bookings" tab
-An unlimited number of read accounts can be created
-Accounts with write permissions are charged at 15 euros per account per month. Discounts for yearly and 2 year plans apply. After pressing create, you will have to acknowledge and accept this charge. Billing will start on your next invoice.

How do I create a user account that also has write access. The second user needs the ability to enter new direct walk up bookings.
Hi there,
Assistant accounts have read-only access for the time being. We might add some other functionality in the future. As a workaround, an Admin account can be accessed from multiple devices at the same time, if that works for you.

Hi, my staff account (read only) doesn't appear to be working as expected- when my staff member tries to log in to Smoobu it says that her trial period has ended and that she will need to upgrade her account. How do I problem solve this? Thank you.

Hi there,
Most likely, your assistants signed up for a free trial instead of only accepting the permission. Please open a ticket from your Smoobu session indicating what is your staff account's email address and we can switch them over to Assistants.
I would like to have a way for a maintenance staff member to receive requests from myself (administrator) and / or the owner and keep them in one place (assigned to a particular home) and then check off / upload photos / etc when they are finished. A day in the future would be good to for on-going or recurring maintenance items.
This page is showing as only being updated two days ago, however it shows out of date screenshots for staff owner accounts. This interface has been changed and the settings/options are different.
