Many hosts have assistants to manage their vacation rental . Whether it is a family member, a direct employee, or an outsourced company, somehow the need arises to keep other people aware of the occupation of the accommodation.
At Smoobu we offer a series of tools that will help you organize teamwork and facilitate access to the information necessary to carry out your operations.
They are unlimited and at no additional cost. You can create them for your cleaning staff, owners, colleagues and other collaborators . In this way they can log into their own Smoobu accounts, and you can decide what information to share with them.
Each of the accounts is personalized. You choose which property each user accesses and what information they can see. The maximum access is, for now, to the calendar and the list of reservations. See how to create them by clicking here.
Important: assistant accounts may (if you allow it) also have editing permissions now. More details by clicking here
Choose if you would like your collaborators to receive notifications just like you, whenever there is a new reservation, modification or cancellation. This setting can be enabled from settings - permissions (for each property and each user).
You can even create personalized email notifications to those same collaborators or to others who do not have a read-only account with Smoobu. You can create these email notifications from settings - communication.
Create the body of the message following the steps as indicated in our Basic Communication Guide and in the recipient section choose the "individual recipient" option. Enter the email you want to notify below, and voila!
