How to correct a property location on the map

Sometimes the pin will pull the wrong location on a map.

Not to worry, you have two options to fix it:

1. Change the address to a format which Google maps can identify (e.g. make sure the postcode is in the correct format etc)

OR

2. Change the longitude and latitude in Smoobu

We recommend checking your address first, of course. Perhaps your address drops a pin nearby, and you need an exact location instead? You can refine this with the Latitude and Longitude on the map.

How do I find my Latitude and Longitude?

Open Google maps, find your exact location. Right-click on the pin, and it copies your Latitude and Longitude.

How do I change my Latitude and Longitude in Smoobu?

Perhaps the address is showing a location close by, but it is not exactly correct? Don't worry! You can further define the exact Latitude and Longitude:

Settings / Website Builder / Accommodations / Details & Photos / Map

Find out your exact Latitude and Longitude you wish to display (from Google maps), then paste into Smoobu (replacing the old) for an exact pin drop location!
