How to take part in Smoobu’s referral program
Smoobu’s referral program gives you 10% of the subscription value (Monthly, Yearly or 2 Years) of your referees, up to €100 per new user account. Simply share your unique referral link with your friends, family and network and start earning!
In return, your friends/family/network will also receive a 10% discount on the purchase of their initial Professional subscription.
How do I invite others to Smoobu?
As a Professional or Teams Subscription Smoobu user, you can access the referral widget to easily share & track the status of your referral(s). You may find the icon on the right side of your Smoobu dashboard. All other tabs and banners should be closed so that the widget appears.
Once you click the icon, you will see your unique referral link that you can copy & share via your preferred distribution channel.
Here are a few ways to share the link:
1. Copy the given URL and send it using your preferred means communication (email, text message, etc).
2. Scan the QR code using your mobile phone to share the link via messenger, text message or other means.
3. Click one of the icons at the bottom to share on social media or via email.
The person you refer must sign up for their 14 day trial using your link. If they delete their cache or close the page and reopen it following an alternative path, the tracking will be lost and the referral will not be traceable. In this case, payout for the referral would not be possible.
Only if the referral uses the shared link to start the Smoobu trial, the referral program can be activated and therefore the reward can be claimed after the subscription. If it has not been possible to track the subscription with the referral link, it is not possible for the parties to claim the reward.
What happens next?
The person you referred will begin a 14 day free trial with Smoobu. When they decide to go for a Professional Subscription, the reward starts to kick in.
You will be notified once someone views your link or becomes a Professional user.
How do I claim my reward? 🎁
For every new user who subscribes to an initial Professional subscription from your referral, you’ll automatically receive 10% of their monthly subscription value up to a maximum of €100 per new referred user. Payout only occurs after their payment to Smoobu is made and you continue to maintain your Professional or Teams subscription.
Payments to you will be made on a monthly basis, based on the subscription date of your referees, and will represent 10% of their monthly subscription price (applies to Yearly / 2 Years subscriptions as well) to a maximum of €100 per user account.
At the moment, you need to own an active PayPal account to be able to receive your payments.
We are looking at other payout options, and we will inform you about new payment providers available to you as soon as we implement them in our referral program.
Your rewards will be displayed in your referral widget & automatically transferred to your PayPal account. The list of supported countries for payouts is ”Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and the United States”.
Will my link expire?
The link is valid for as long as Smoobu offers this current referral programme. Smoobu may launch a new iteration of our referral programme in the future, you will be the first to know!
Is there a time limit for my referees to convert into users?
At some point Smoobu may decide to end or update our referral programme. The links are valid for as long as this current referral programme is offered.
