What size or format of pictures should I upload?

Our website is in a responsive web layout. It should look beautiful on all devices from desktop to smartphone.

You will get the best results if your pictures are in a widescreen layout with the most important content focussed in the centre of the picture. Recommended format is 16:9.

The quality should be good but not too high, around 500 kb. If your website is loading slowly, you should decrease the size of the files or reduce the number of pictures.

The format should be one of the basic photo types: jpg, jpeg, png...
