Can I send different prices to different channels? How to reflect commissions with a mark-up

Yes, absolutely you can! You have a Base price for your own website bookings. For the channels you can adjust them by a certain percentage or mark-up. 

This means that the base prices you enter in Smoobu (the ones in the white boxes) will apply to your website bookings, and on top of that you can enter a different mark-up for each booking portal.

For example, your Base price is 100 euros. If you wish your Booking.com Standard rate base price to be 115 euros, enter here 15%. You can also use negative amounts; for ex. Enter -15%.

Click on Save and your next price change will take into account 15% or -15% for Booking.com.

Enter / change a mark-up

1) Head to Calendar - Settings.

2) Click on Price Sync/Mark-up

3) Enter the mark-up (it can also be negative):

**Important**. If you adjust the percentage margins (mark-up) and click on Save, the new percentage will only apply to the price changes (new entries) you make later. The price will not be immediately transmitted to every day.
Instead, you can request to Overwrite prices to apply the new percentage to your previously entered prices.

When is it necessary?

Case 1

If you first entered your prices in Smoobu and only later connected to a booking portal / mapped a rate plan. Head to the mark-up section and click on Overwrite prices. This action will push your previous price entries to your currently connected booking portals. 

This is a one-time action as you are now connected to the booking portal and all changes will be automatically transferred under your current settings.

Case 2 

In case you changed the mark-up percentage after entering prices but only clicked on Save. This means that you didn't request the software to overwrite your previous price entries. If you wish your current mark-up to affect your previous price entries, head to the mark-up section now and click on Overwrite prices
