You can now create a quotation offer without booking your calendar.
Creating a quotation will be really helpful for over-the-phone, email queries and walk-in quotation inquiries, all without limiting the calendar.
Smoobu will automatically calculate a price for the stay and save the offer in the PMS without blocking out dates. So if the guest doesn't decide to go ahead with their inquiry, you don't have to manually release the dates anymore.
Benefits of this feature include:
- Save your potential guest's contact details
- Keep track of the quotations you have submitted
- Avoid pricing errors - no need for a calculator!
- Calculate any Long Term stay discounts automatically
- Create and send PDF Quotations through the Invoice function
On top of that, if the visitor is interested and would like to confirm the reservation you can book it in just by clicking on 'Book again'.
Step by step
1) Click on 'Enter booking'. Fill in the details as usual - check it out here if you need a reminder
2) Instead of clicking on 'Save', click on the arrow right next to it and select 'Create Offer'. See below:
As a result, this Offer will appear on your Bookings list when you filter by Status.
3) Send this offer to your potential guest via email.
Use the placeholder [offerurl] to send a link to your Booking Tool with your custom offer.
Your guest can now pay with the payment method you usually accept. Once paid, the booking will automatically be synchronized with your Smoobu calendar.

This function is currently under BETA testing. Feedback is welcome!

Hi there,
Â
I have 2 questions:
1.
In the bookings overview don't see the '3 horizontal stripes' on the right side where you can click on 'send message'.
2.
I've made a test order now to myself via 'messages' in the lefthand side menu bar, but when clicking the link for the booking proposal, there was no information (date / price / etc) in there.Â
Â
Thanks to advise.
