As you may already know with Smoobu you can automate your communication to save time and ensure each guest has all information they need for their stay. Your personalized automatic messages are triggered and sent according to different criteria: Time of day, Trigger event (like Arrival or Departure), Portal booked, and Accommodation.
As a host, previously it may have been complicated to clearly identify which message template was scheduled to be sent, and at what time. You can now better identify the automatic messages queue and can now cancel the sending of certain messages, for a specific booking.
View, edit and cancel scheduled auto-messages
Head to the Booking Details page for a booking and scroll down to check the Scheduled messages section. You may view, edit and cancel the existing auto-messages.
When editing, the Sending date can be changed. The previously selected Sending time of the day (hh:mm - hh:mm) will be considered.
Add new one-off auto-messages for a booking
You may also schedule a message to be sent in the future. This would be a one-off message, applicable to this booking only.
Head to Booking Details and click on Schedule a message.
Write your message based on a template or from scratch and choose a Send date. Save.
